Booking.com Chat Integration for Taxi Suppliers

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new cross-platform chat feature, developed in collaboration with Booking.com.

Customers booking through the Booking.com app can now chat directly with their driver through the Good Journey Driver app and web apps—even when the customer and driver use different platforms.

Previously, drivers and customers often had to rely on WhatsApp, SMS, or local messaging providers to coordinate their trips. That created unnecessary friction, fragmented the experience, and sometimes required users to download another app.

Now, communication happens seamlessly within the Booking.com experience. Customers can connect with their driver directly, while drivers can respond through the tools they already use every day.

Drivers also receive real-time notifications in the Good Journey Driver app when customers message them through Booking.com, helping them respond quickly without monitoring another communication channel.

The chat also supports language translation, helping customers and drivers communicate more easily across language barriers—particularly during international trips and airport pickups.

This makes the journey smoother, clearer, and more convenient for everyone:

Messages flow seamlessly between Booking.com and Good Journey, keeping customers and drivers connected across platforms.
  • Faster, more reliable communication
  • No need for third-party messaging apps
  • Better coordination before and during each trip
  • A more consistent experience across platforms
  • Real-time chat notifications directly in the driver app

Great technology makes the complex feel simple. Good Journey is the first platform to launch this capability with Booking.com, connecting customers and drivers directly across both platforms.

It’s a simpler way to keep every journey moving. And we’re just getting started.
